Sun Distortions

This series explores my relationship with the sun in nature, evoking the essence of each environment without merely depicting it. These distortions reflect the evolution of memory, becoming more visually abstract while maintaining emotional intensity. Thinly layered on the canvas, the oil paint acquires a sinuous quality, giving the composition quiet, organic movement. When the viewer becomes immersed in the work’s intricacies and finds calm in its moments of rest, I know it is complete.
